Use Cases and Deployment Scope

KnowBe4 is really helpful in organizing all our trainings and compliance things. The UI is straight forward and easy to use. From signing documents to sexual harassment training, KnowBe4 does it all very professionally and painlessly. Our company's integration with Okta also makes it a breeze to access - no complaints at all here!

Likelihood to Recommend

It was great for on-boarding documents and trainings. We used it for signing our employee handbook and it was straight forward. The only thing that was confusing was even after reviewing a document, the time constraints to complete it were too long, although this is up to the employer I believe (maybe it can provide reasonable time frames for review a certain amount of pages)

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The training KnowBe4 provides, like sexual harassment prevention videos and IT security training, is very easy for employees to use. It is a simple process, with informative videos that employees can access at any time before the deadline. We use KnowBe4 mostly for these trainings, addressing workplace requirements that all employees need training on in order to work for the company.

Cons

Videos are informative but cheesy
There should be a timer function to know how long employees have to be "in" the training to meet the time requirement to complete it

It's well suited for more technical trainings like IT training & phishing scams. However, in the sexual harassment trainings, these trainings are so corny it's almost like a joke. It's hard to take the message seriously, but I think that's due to the nature of the topic & how it has to be acted out, which seems so egregious to happen in real life.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team uses KnowBe4 Compliance Plus to track and complete practical training. We have used it for security training and also sexual harassment training. It's easy to use for training a large group of teammates.

Makes it easy to see if your team has completed training
Makes watching training videos easy
Makes it easy to see what trainings you have completed as a user

Cons

There are too many reminders to complete training

KnowBe4 Compliance Plus works really well for HR-related training, such as discrimination and harassment. I'm not sure what other training it might work well for.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize the KnowBe4 Compliance Plus add-on to supply all appropriate trainings for our organization regarding compliance. This suite of trainings covers us for a wide range of compliance testing and even covers region specific training types. We have found the organization of the trainings, scheduling campaigns and moving through follow-up processes to be quite low impact and overall easy to manage. The training also seems to maintain a current state with any changes to existing compliance standards. We have noticed some updates to training content to maintain with industry changes, which has been very helpful. Overall I would recommend it based on our experience.

The entire suite does well to accommodate any compliance training needs my organization has. It is easy to configure, maintain, and create reporting on. We have it enabled to be managed by our HR team for HR related trainings and our tech admins oversee any other requirements that our teams may have. Overall a solid product.

We also provide additional regulatory training, such as anti-bribery and privacy. Additionally, we deploy diversity and inclusion training modules from Compliance Plus. We plan to expand the training areas during the course of 2025, as our customers often expect training in these areas.

We use compliance plus for 2 of our major annual compliancy trainings, Title IX and Sexual Harassment. Before getting compliance plus, it was hard to get these trainings sent out and completed and the platforms we used before were clunky and cumbersome. Now being able to roll in our Title IX and Sexual Harassment trainings into our current KnowBe4 platform makes this annual training a breeze to complete. We have also gotten plenty of compliments from our end-users saying how easy it is in to complete their training

Get realtime feedback as users complete the training and being able to setup customized notifications for your end-users makes a world of difference

As we are a highly regulated organization we rely on compliance related modules such as Data Protection regulations and FCA modules

Pros

Data Protection modules
Anti Bribery and corruption
Anti money laundering
combating fraud

Cons

It would be great is the provided Client Money and Assets (CASS) related modules.

easy to understand and follow modules. Allocating modules to our users is an easy process and the reporting of who has done the modules and what their status of completion is like is very beneficial.

We use KnowBe4 Compliance Plus for Phishing Campaigns and Phishing Training. We do training once a year and Campaigns twice a year.

Pros

Their Customer Success Managers are exceptional. I have had 4 or 5 different ones, and all were great. They kept getting promoted in the company.
Their Training Material is great.
Their Training and Campaign capabilities work flawlessly.

Cons

A way of showing what training modules have overlapping material.

Training on handling, securing, and safeguarding data and documentation.

We primarily use KnowBe4 Compliance Plus to assign and track sexual harassment prevention training. This helps make sure everyone in the company completes their training in a timely manor, and is auditable.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize KnowBe4 to enhance our staff's awareness around Phishing and IT compliance. We use the platform for our regular Phishing testing, as well as annual IT training. In addition to that, we utilize the compliance side of the platform to house and distribute our mandatory trainings to ensure we are compliant with our local govt. regulations (and compliant with our grant and funders). These trainings are both our in-house videos/trainings as well as links to KnowBe4 trainings and third-party trainings. Having it all in one platform makes it so much easier to track completion and compliance.

Cons

Re-design the "templates" to look less like phishing attempts! LOL!

KnowBe4 is best suited for mid-large size organizations. It is too robust for smaller organizations (and would lead to an overwhelming feeling possibly).
