We conducted a campaign for an industry. With Lead Forensics, we could see the companies and regions where the campaign drove people to the website. From this, we built an effective follow-up campaign using account-based marketing.

proactive opportunity creation. We're fairly reactive and I'd like to use it for a prompt towards more investigative sales approach.

Pros

  • live view of site traffic
  • creation of account profiles
  • CRM

Cons

  • a program to send email notifications
  • Live alerts of site activity
  • lower cost.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's good for looking for companies to work with but understandably short on finding contact information.

The Secret Weapon That Makes Me Look Like a Sales Genius

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lead Forensics to identify new potential customers. It allows us to gear our pitch to their specific needs or what they are considering in the moment. It allows us to work well with our existing client base to identify additional needs. We have also been able to use the Contacts feature to get email addresses, phone numbers, and locations. It links us to their Linkedin profiles which is great.

Pros

  • Lead Generation by identifying the new traffic to our website.
  • Customer retention by identifying the pages they visit so we understand their needs prior to contact
  • It provides the contact information
  • It identifies individuals in the roles I am searching

Cons

  • It would be nice to integrate with Outlook
  • It would be nice if it acted more like a CRM
  • It needs to provide more accurate personnel info as sometimes people have been gone for years

Likelihood to Recommend

Lead Forensics was especially effective in identifying returning visitors from existing customer accounts. This allowed me to proactively reach out, understand their interests based on web activity, and successfully expand the scope of services they were already purchasing. It's less appropriate for brand-new lead generation, as it doesn’t capture anonymous traffic without prior engagement or recognizable IP data.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to see how well my marketing campaigns do. I use UTM tracking, and I can see how many people come directly from each email or social media post. This allows me to gauge how effective the marketing is and adapt my strategy accordingly. It also helps to see who is visiting our website in terms of industry and how much time they spend there. Overall, a very great product!

Pros

  • The user-interface is approachable and customizable
  • Lots of different reports
  • Providing more information on visitors than you thought possible

Cons

  • Is there a way to set up hot keys? Because sometimes I'm assigning leads, and it can take several clicks instead of 1.
  • The reports list feels overwhelming, like I don't even know what all those things are.
  • I'd really appreciate a dark mode please.

Likelihood to Recommend

When you have people coming to your website and you want to know which pages they look at, how long they are there, and when they leave. Also when you want to know their industry, their company, and what led them to your website. You can really get a customer profile.

Great product that will likely improve and become even better

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lead Forensics to find new customers interested in our service and see what our current customers are looking for.

Pros

  • Discovering new needs
  • Finding new contacts that we are unaware of
  • Helping with seeing what is popular

Cons

  • Better updates on companies' current names. Often if a company was a different company years ago it still says the old company name which is confusing.
  • Better identifying the correct location. Sometimes it seems like that the location coming up is the wrong location.
  • Giving a better understanding of how they got to the website would help too. Often is says "direct" but I would like to know if it was via a link from an email or what

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great to determine needs for companies that have small teams and are easy to locate the person who was interested. It's not great for company that are massive because it becomes impossible to future out who was looking at the website.

Lead Forensics where would I be without it

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Lead forensics has been a fantastic tool over the last several months. It helps by triggering notifications for what my existing clientele might be looking at, that I might not be aware of. It helps by giving you insights to new leads that are within your chosen industry that are looking at specific points on your website. It doesn’t always tell you exactly who to contact, that depends on the size of the company, but if it’s a company you’ve never done business with before, you have a great starting point. I make sales every single month that I’d have not gotten without Lead Forensics. It’s a worthwhile tool for any sales person who really wants to expand their book of business.

Pros

  • Gives insights as to what your clients might be looking at
  • Gives you new prospects to start chasing
  • Helps expand your book of business

Cons

  • More targeted site specific information

Likelihood to Recommend

I’ve had multiple instances where I got an Lead Forensics lead, I reached out as a simple cold call. Lead Forensics gave me a few contacts to chase, I reached out, and was able to land a deal. Without Lead Forensics that would have never happened. Excellent tool, love Lead Forensics and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Helpful tool for marketing

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team uses LF for lead generation from our web traffic, tradeshows, and marketing campaigns. As a small company, we needed to try something new to get valuable customer information and quality leads. This tool has been helpful to see who is checking out your company and gathering contacts for our reps to build relationships with. The information has been accurate so far and helps us make a warm impression with new customers.

Without this tool, we wouldn't know what opportunities are coming to us - now we have the ability to reach out to prospects quicker than they can find the competition. Having routine meetings with our CSM is also beneficial to ensure we are getting the best value of this product. Very helpful resource for marketing!

Pros

  • Organized data
  • Custom reporting and automated reports
  • Quick reporting of visits

Cons

  • Some features have too many options to sift through that make it confusing to navigate
  • Online support pages have some broken links that need updates

Likelihood to Recommend

It is good if you have a strong web presence and are tracking analytics with purpose for marketing and sales campaigns. If you do not have a purpose for the information collected, it may seem wasteful.
