We use Leapsome as our main performance management software. We use it throughout the yearly goal setting process and for all mid-year reviews. We also utilize it for training purposes and to publish OKRs for our teams. We have been using Leapsome for the last year after previously using Betterworks.

I have found Leapsome to be more useful in a larger team environment. I currently work on a small team, and feel that at times I'm over-engineering performance management tasks in order to accomplish something. It often feels like a chore to perform performance management, and I can get stuck with tasks that aren't even my responsibility.

Leapsome has been introduced in our organization throughout all verticals and departments. This software has helped us in performance management across all positions in our organization. The user interface of this application is super amazing. In my past 11 years of experience, I have used a lot of software but they tend to have a complicated interface and sometimes various sub functions which eventually suppressed the performance management tool. However, I see this tool focus on performance management in a special manner. The summary and the graphical representation of the ranking are good to see on the main page. This gives simple yet effective information on the very first view. I recommend this for use in case the primary use is for performance management and requirement is a simple tool.

This tool should also have an option to record 1:1 discussions and earlier reviews along with the yearly performance management
Remuneration details are although an HR function and should be within the company’s restricted information however the yearly bonus and increment details can also be sent across this tool and that will be recorded accordingly. Just a thought for HR database. Not sure about the restrictions

It will be an apt tool where only performance management is the requirement of the company in case there is no such tool in place. Like for a startup where the tool is yet to implement, this can help in managing the performance management with ease and a simple interface. Within a large organization where the requirements are beyond performance management, this tool will fall short

Weekly anonymous employee satisfaction survey 2. Interacting with the employee based on the survey 3. Quarterly Assessments 4. Yearly Assessments 5. Praising employees (by the employees) 6. Distributing rewards for employees 7. Other employee feedbacks

Internal surveys as one of the most used feature, use of visuals to represent data is very impressive
Integration with Slack keeps me updated so emails are not lost in the sea of unreads
A personalized "To Do" list helps me save time.

Setting up a meeting on Leapsome for assessment was tiresome, good tool but needs to have better UX
The goals feature needs to be expanded a bit more
If it can be integrated with project management tools, that would be awesome

Assessments are perfectly done over Leapsome, there is a great level of customization as well as awesome graphics as output.
But the product is not used very frequently as assessments are quarterly exercises, if Leapsome could help align an employee towards the goal post assessment, that would be awesome.
