We use Linkedin Talent Solutions as our main way to passively find candidates. We use it internally to reach out to people for our team and find qualified, interested candidates for our clients' positions. We also use it to post roles- this gives us extra exposure for those paid slots to advertise to potential candidates.

I think that if you are someone who has to make hires. This platform is a must. While it is very expensive, it will pay for itself if you can utilize it correctly and find candidates. This is more for recruitment and reaching out. I would recommend their sales platform if you are trying to connect from a business standpoint, not recruitment.
Talent Solutions is currently being used for recruitment purposes. We post jobs and actively search for candidates through our recruiter profiles. The only team using the tool is people operations, a total of 5 people. And it is definitely our most important, quick, and volume generator sourcing tool. The hired vs applications rates are not the best but definitely the best option in the market.

If you are looking for business, marketing, technology, digital and specialized profiles this is your tool! Active sourcing is their best feature. You can search and filter qualified talent in a sec.

LinkedIn Talent Solutions has helped us a lot. It serves a vital role in our work. We find those candidates who are actively looking for a job change and are not much interested to update their status on job portals. Here in LinkedIn, one can interact with employees of the company from most senior to any level and of any department directly by simply connecting them in your network or by sending in emails. One can find actively candidate looking for a change and you can view their certificates, work done, education, discuss the role. Unlike other job portals, you can interact and create your friend/network list with people of your concern. You can raise concerns with any product and services of any company like Twitter and other social networks. as per my opinion if the LinkedIn talent solution improves the filter applied for candidate sourcing this will be great. Also if they can add an option of the best time to contact and best way to contact to open to a work candidate. In short, this is the best platform for me for sourcing candidates.

Used by recruitment teams to find candidates to passive recruit for our positions. We don’t use their application features in LinkedIn. All candidates are redirected to our external application when they hit the apply button in LinkedIn. We also use this to send InMails to candidates we would like to apply for our roles. Secondarily LinkedIn Talent Solutions allows us to post our jobs on their network for people to find on their own.

Very well suited for finding candidates if you are not getting a lot of applicants or qualified applicants. Also well suited to professional jobs where a bachelors degree or higher is required due to the professionalism of the LinkedIn Brand. Talent Solutions would not be suited for a company with a lot of openings or growth as their organization of projects and job posts is not easy. Additionally long term roles or forever open roles wouldn’t work well with LinkedIn Talent as their postings expire every two weeks automatically and you have to reset the posting. This can cause issues with your overall analytics of data for applicant tracking and marketing in the recruitment area.
I am an HR department of one, which means I am the sole recruiting manager as well. LinkedIn Talent Solutions is my primary source for reaching passive candidates, as well as posting job ads on a pay-per-click basis.

It's clear that it is the largest network of professional candidates, which lets me feel confident that I'm using my recruiting budget wisely. I appreciate that there are multiple options to choose from to suit a variety of companies/budgets, and there is true value in LinkedIn Talent Solutions as an investment, however even the most inexpensive option could still be too pricey for smaller companies.
This tool simply produces the results we need - it is THE solution for us to find and place top technical and professional talent, second only to our robust associate referral program.

This tool is great for highly technical/skilled industries and firms. I would not recommend it for industrial or light industrial firms or industries.

I have found that the lower level candidates don't have LinkedIn profiles, so there's no sense in posting on LinkedIn for these roles. LinkedIn Talent Solutions is our go-to for the sweet spot roles that we hire for!
