Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lob to help nonprofits have better addresses of donors in their database. This is important, as addresses provided by the donors are often sloppy and need to be cleaned in order to be usable. LOB does this WONDERFULLY.

If you need a more custom and flexible autocomplete over Google Maps API, this is the solution for you. Google Maps API works on LOCATION, while LOB works on MAILING ADDRESS. Often a very big difference. Use the best-in-class tools to get it done... like LOB.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lob for almost all transactional mail that we send our customers including batch jobs (billing and renewal notifications) and daily customer mailing requests. We also use it for generating checks, certified mailing notices, and some other marketing outreach. Lob replaces our physical mailing house and provides data related to each piece of mail we send including delivery status and time to delivery.

Speed of mail production
Additional options for mail types (envelopes, postcards, etc.)

Likelihood to Recommend

Lob is working well for batched or scheduled jobs where timing isn't as critical. For items that need to be sent quickly, it's still faster to manually produce.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use LOB to verify addresses within the US to ensure the products that we send them are sent to an address that is deliverable. We've integrated it into our ordering platform and based on the user's address input, we can automatically verify the address, and if deliverable, allow the user to proceed. If the address they enter is not deliverable, then we prompt the user in real-time to update their address.
