We have used Mimecast Cloud Archive for nearly 10 years now and it has helped in so many ways. First and foremost it allows us to maintain lean mailboxes, even since moving to cloud based mail platforms our users know they can delete emails and know they are backed up for 99 years!

We use Mimecast Cloud Archive as a secure, scalable, and compliant email archiving solution across our entire organization. It plays a critical role in our data retention, eDiscovery, and compliance workflows by providing a tamper-proof repository of all inbound, outbound, and internal emails. It helps enforce retention and deletion policies automatically across the organization. The archive is searchable via Outlook and the Mimecast web portal, allowing employees to retrieve historical emails quickly without needing IT support.

We needed to replace our previous on-prem e-mail archiving solution (Barracuda) with a could-based solution and do it in conjunction with our move to Exchange Online. After speaking and demoing all of the current best players in this space we decided to go with Mimecast as it just odes what is meant to do with no fuss and it works. The migration was seamless and the users took to it in no time. We use it across the whole Company and users rely on it as it allows them to keep records of all e-mails and also helps us when we need to retrieve messages from employees no longer at the company.

• We needed a product that would allow us to keep at least 7 years worth of emails as required by the business and Mimecast, with its unlimited archiving, meets this requirement perfectly.
• Being a cloud-based solution allowed us to save on hardware, infrastructure, and maintenance costs when compared to our previous on-prem appliance.

As a law firm it's imperative we maintain an email archive that's easily searchable for eDiscovery and case management purposes. Beyond that, we've used Mimecast Cloud Archive many times to retrieve lost or mistakenly deleted messaged. The Archive search allows for granular searching based on time frame, words, phrases, and attachments which has been extremely helpful.
