Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Paycor to store and organize employee personal files, track and review employees time, manage employees attendance with Paycor’s “Points” feature, review and complete company payroll, run reports for audits and for the transferring and communicating of company and employee information, enrollment of benefits with Paycor’s “Benefit Advisor”, and employee engagement with the Paycor Engage feature.

Paycor’s scheduling tends to cause some difficulties generally
Adding the ability to reassign past and present Paycor performance reviews and the ability to remove in progress reviews from supervisors tasks without having to delete them
Remove the box that is automatically checked when adding a new document that allows employees to view the document that is being uploaded

I feel that Paycor is very aesthetically pleasing and relatively easy to pick up and use. That being said I do feel as though I run into a high number of issues while utilizing their system but overall have a fair time navigating Paycor and using for what I need to do.

I process payroll and run many customized reports. We struggle with the GL set up, reports are not date driven and the company structure.

Overall our experience with Paycor has been good. With any company, there are areas they could improve. Reporting is a huge task for us and because Paycor is not date driven, I have to manipulate reporting.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am an hourly employee who uses Paycor to clock in. I'm sure my HR department does much more with the tool. I know that we also use Paycor to request days off and see how much vacation we have left, which is nice! The scope of use is for hundreds of employees in this case.

The system allows for streamlined access to pay plan and history. Time off request can be made via the website portal. The software addresses any discrepancies in questions of pay or requested time off. Access to answers of any questions you may have regarding pay or time off are available.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for a variety of purposes, such as payroll purposes, PTO, Illness, education, shout-outs, and for doing our quarterly reviews on ourselves. The company likes to use it to recognize workers who do good things as well, or sometimes just for everyone to see an important document across the entire building.

I am an employee, so I use Paycor to access time off (sick, vacation, or personal), pay statements, and tax documentation.

Easy to use interface
Timely access to pay statements
Consistent system communication

Cons

Paycor does not work on Google Chrome.
Support videos / literature to help when I don't know where to look for certain documents, etc.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Payor to enter new hires and terminate them upon their leave. We designate managers so that others may see those they supervise. We use Payor for time and attendance and payroll purposes. It allows us to monitor timecards, enter schedules, track accruals, and fix any issues quickly with timecard discrepancies.

Paycor is a good option for businesses that have employees with varying schedules. You are able to assign multiple people to one schedule or have many different options. I believe it is most suitable for difficult schedules too as you can set schedules to be weekly, biweekly or even monthly.

I use Paycor to clock in and out of work at the beginning and end of my daily shift. I also utilize Paycor to check my weekly hours. I can also check my pay rate, pay information, or other pertinent documents. I also use Paycor to check for important company bulletins and announcements.

We use Paycor for PTO, employee handbooks and documentation, W2s, pay stubs, company notifications and tasks. I use Paycor most often to submit pto and check my balace of future days off. I also often look for documents such as the company holiday and payroll calendar. All of this is organized neatly in one place and is easy to navigate. A nice feature is an engage board on your homescreen where employees can give kudos and shoutouts to other team members for the whole company to see and engage with

Paycor is a one-stop shop for administrative duties. I appreciate that all important documentation for both the organization and myself are stored in there. I have my time card and compensation history, employee number, and benefits information. As well as my pto and certifications/professional trainings. The pinned new channel allows me to easily receive new announcements and look back on the year. i love the countdown till your next paycheck on the homescreen

It has helped us by streamlining and automating key HR and Payroll processes, which reduces manual work and makes our day to day operations much more efficient. Customer service is an area that could use improvement. Response times are often slow and it typically requires consistent follow up to get a case fully resolved.
