A Comprehensive PromoRepublic Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The availability of readymade templates makes us save time and cost instead of doing it from scratch. There are tools for reporting and tracking and overseeing social media initiatives.

  • Scheduling social media post
  • Easy Editing
  • Good Customer Service

Cons

  • I couldn't find any tagging in specific
  • Also if the search result could give accurate result for keyword, that would be fine
  • If there would be a folder option for accounts that would be great

Most Important Features

  • Scheduled posting time is great one we can say
  • The next is premade or easymade templates for use
  • Customer support is the best one

Return on Investment

  • Need improvement in integration part, i.e. integrating to third party apps
  • I think popups should be controlled
  • Nothing other than this

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our clients don't always give us enough information to complete their social media schedules so PromoRepublic's "Post Ideas" is a great place for us to give them examples to get them started. We also use it as a scheduling platform for some of our clients with a smaller budget.

Graphic design is not everyone's strong suit and the post ideas/Editor help with that aspect of social media as well!

PromoRepublic - Best Social Media Scheduling Tool I've Tried

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use PromoRepublic to handle the social media scheduling, some image creation, and social media analytics for two of our clients, as well as some of our own posting. These clients also work with freelancers for certain campaigns, and we use PromoRepublic to collaborate with these freelancers, provide guidance and approve any posts they create.

Pros

  • Calendar overview for all platforms per client is great.
  • Image creation tool is fairly robust.
  • Analytics dashboard is excellent and easy for clients to understand.
  • Support is super quick.

Cons

  • Support doesn't always understand the issues you bring to them, and it can take some back and forth to get a resolution.
  • Can only post 1 image direct to Instagram.
  • Linking to social platforms can be finicky. We could only get it to work by having only 1 person link all of the platforms for a client.

  • Quick support - they respond almost immediately to almost all queries.
  • The ability to add notes to the calendar, rather than having to have a separate calendar for ideas.
  • Basic image creation is great for on-the-fly posts.

Return on Investment

  • Has helped our two clients to be more consistent with their social media.
  • Has given one client more of a sense of control, which he didn't have before.
  • Has made planning easier, by allowing us to add notes directly to the calendar.
  • Makes working with freelancers much more simple.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I primarily use PromoRepublic to schedule my social media posts and videos across several networks at specified times. This saves me a lot of time flipping between several social media platforms posting one at a time. Also being able to schedule it in advance allows me to have free time on vacations or the weekend or in the evening.

  • Easy to connect to several platforms
  • Easy to customize per platform

Cons

  • Functionality limited to posting only
  • Haven’t seen any upgrades or improvements for a while
  • Haven’t heard from the team much at all
