A review of using Referral Factory for affiliate marketing

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Referral Factory is an excellent tool we recently began using within our company. We had tried a couple of other referral software providers but would often struggle with some of our "less-techy" staff to create our campaigns, we only have two developers in our firm, the rest are either admin or project managers. So we were looking for a platform that did not require any coding experience. Once we found Referral Factory we were immediately pulled in by the clean UI and ease of setting up campaigns. As a result, all of our staff members are able to work on our campaigns with ease. I would certainly recommend this software to anyone looking for an easy way to create referral campaigns.

Pros

  • Easy to create campaigns

  • The analytics dashboard is excellent and we regularly use parts of it for our monthly meetings
  • No coding knowledge required

Cons

  • I would like the ability for further customisation of the shareable linked pages, such as adding brand colours within the template. (perhaps with a colour picker)
  • Build our own drag and drop templates.

  • Due to the simplicity of creating campaigns we have increased the number of campaigns that are currently active and it took our staff around half the time to complete these.

Within our international recruitment business, we have a referral program for franchise sales that we used to promote only via email. Unfortunately, we converted very few leads from the email campaigns this year and decided to look into new ways of promoting the referral program.

Referral Factory is the best tool to diversify the promotion of your referral. Users can promote their referral programs via email but also add pop-up banners on the relevant page, landing pages, and a chatbot button floating at the bottom of the page.

The platform provides ready-made templates for various industries such as finance, e-commerce, crypto, real estate, health insurance, law, and many more.

Overall, the platform is user-friendly and very instinctive to use with guidance throughout all pages. I believe this is a good platform to use to promote referrals, significantly impacting the revenue stream of many organizations.

  • Pricing could be improved. Starter package should include team access
  • It would be great to allow to use own HTML. Now it is possible only at the enterprise level

I would use Referral Factory in my organization for my referral email structures. It is easy to use, user-friendly and the guide that comes with it is straight forward. What I liked aswell is the fact that you can customize the program to your own brand style, even with fonts, colors, photos and logos. Referral Factory makes referral programs way easier.

  • It is user friendly, but I would make the brush for customization a bit more noticeable for users. Sometimes I was trying to find where I could customize my fonts or background etc.
  • Some more Personalisation Variables that you can use. I could only use {First name} and {of the person referring}
  • I would like to have some more pre-made templates.
