I work for an SAP Consultancy based in the UK. We diesign and deliver SAP solutions for our customers around world. I believe that SAP is a world class solution. I have also worked directly for Companies using SAP EWM and have seen the process from start to finish. The solution provides a clean and logical work flow from goods receiving right through to picking and shipping, as well as covering everything else from Finance and HR resource planning.
Pros
Ease of use
Cons
Standard mobility solution has a solid backend, but the frontend for operators is still behind the curve. My Company specialises in mobility solutions that enhance the end users experience with SAP
Likelihood to Recommend
The ease of use of the solution has made it a great experience to create work flows for customers
It has the capability for integrating SAP modules together in one umbrella like SAP MM, SAP FICO, SAP HRBP etc. It helps in transmission and data concurrency between various departments like finance, HR, supply chain etc. Integration is seamless and in the UI itself. Easy to use and faster integration in cloud systems as well as on-premise applications.
Pros
faster way to integrate the SAP applications together
Security and reliability
end-to-end solution for integrating SAP modules
Cons
complexity in integration which causes long time to market
high cost of implementation
customization challenge for very specific process for any business
Likelihood to Recommend

2. It helps in scalability and the AI capability helps analysis of the entire system as well as integration.
3. Automation capability helps in reducing manual efforts of data transmission.
i have used SAP Build to create automation, applications, and workzones. We are able to create simple applications and enhance business processes with the automations. At this event, I have better learned how to use SAP Build products, with AI. We will use these learning to make our existing application innovative.
Pros
Many learning Journeys
Simple, separated design that is easy to understand
Plenty of given, connected resources
Cons
The formulas functionality is unclear
Need more workzone learning journeys
More learning on build code
Likelihood to Recommend
I am currently using SAP Build to make a simple, but also efficient meetings app. I have also used SAP Build Process Automation to make an automation to read from an excel and put information into a given website. This has enhanced our business processes as we are able to free up our employee's time doing menial tasks.

SAP Build is a business application development tool which we have mainly used for accelarating development and automating with its latest generative AI tools. It provides the complete solution with comprehensive suite of low code and pro code. It also provides cloud ready extensions that maximises our investments across app ecosystem.
Pros
It automates the entire business solution with its generative AI tools
It can also build digital workspace without any code
It provides secure authentication and authorization and also scales up pretty well.
Cons
Firstly there is a scope to reduce the pricing so that it can be more affordable.
The customer support team is bit slow so it takes some time to get the answers for your queries.
The integration is not so straightforward and it takes good amount of time.
Likelihood to Recommend
The main reason we have provided this rating is because of its rich source of features and pre built templates and solutions. It also creates and auguments enterprise apps quickly and visually with low code development tools. It breaks down silos by giving cross functional teams tools to develop applications easily.
We use SAP Build the applications SAP Build Code, SAP Build Process Automations and SAP Build Work Zone, standard editions. We use these products to build Side-by-Side extension on SAP S4/HANA. And in the end expose the extensions, tasks and standard S4 tiles all together on one portal in Build Work Zone.
Pros
Easy to use IDE in the cloud
Simple way to create Workflows
One entry point for everything SAP
Cons
As it consists of different productions, integrating them could be improved
The documentation is not always complete
Vision of the Build Lobby when using different subaccounts for different purposes (Code vs Process)
Likelihood to Recommend
Building Side-by-Side Extension using SAP Build Code is getting better and better and even Joule is useful these days to help you for it.
SAP Build Process Automation is easy to model small processes, however documentation about using custom events as a starting point is severely limited.

We mainly use SAP Build for developing POCs for our end clients. Those use cases tend to exist of simple apps meant to extend cloud products such as SAP S/4HANA and Sales/Service Cloud, as well as automate approval workflows to manage data processes (e.g., creation of Business Partners, Products, ...). Additionally, we've performed limited tests for RPA processes to help streamline repetitive tasks.
Pros
Great tool for rapid prototyping
Potential for citizen developers (although currently in practice still need a lot of input for most scenarios from more technical colleagues)
Decent integration with the SAP ecosystem
Cons
Workflow automation is still limited, especially when it comes to presenting forms dynamically for _much_ increased user-friendliness (and thus higher end user adoption)
Pro-code tool should be more readily accessible in order to cover more use cases
Monitoring and logging, especially division between technical and non-technical errors and how they get presented to relevant end users
Likelihood to Recommend
For basic forms and processes or to quickly iterate on an idea or Proof of Concept, SAP Build can help quickly collect data from a fictional end user, and perform basic data fetches and updates with simple logic. However, for more complex requirements, it is not currently the right tool.
SAP Build is a more mature tool for application development. The challenge is less about implementing simple use cases or designs but rather how to embed the application into another solution. As a stand-alone app, it generally performs well for basic needs.
RPA (Robotic Process Automation) can be powerful when it works, but it can be quite difficult to debug if things don't go right from the start. It’s definitely worth exploring and evaluating to determine if there will be a good return on investment (ROI) for a specific use case.

SAP Build is used as a tool for teaching low-no code application development. Students find the use of SAP Build to be easy and robust, as well as engaging. Students were able to use SAP Build to develop a business integration platform that connected data from MES system to ERP system. These students were able to get jobs.
Pros
Interface
Application
Cons

Likelihood to Recommend
Cloud first development

Process Automation is used for uploading spreadsheets and integrating data into s4/hana + for automating repetitive tasks done in s4 (as nightly background job). Build apps & AI will be used for designing prototypes in the beginning of the project phase.
Pros
User friendly design
Embedded AI
Integration with other solutions
Cons
Custom extensibility for SAP Build Apps
Templates should be highlighted more
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited:
- For creating prototypes
- As starting point for new apps (especially for people who are not familiar with CAP), also to ensure best practices are used
Less appropriate:
- when a lot of extensions are expected in the future (uncertainty whether it will be able to tackle the requirements)
