We have many teams that do not have an engineering team paired with them, but that still need to develop applications for automating processes and speeding up repetitive functions. These teams utilize Build to create applications in a no-code environment. These teams would not otherwise have the tech background to be able to create the apps on their own.

Pros

Graphical interface creation is easy and makes the applications easy to use
Logic flow snippets can be saved and reused across teams, so we dont have to 'recreate the wheel.'
The entire SDK environment runs very smoothly, with no clunky or confusing layouts

Cons

It doesnt integrate especially well with 3rd party tools like Outlook, Word, etc.
Licensing structure/pricing tiers can be confusing and difficult to navigate

Return on Investment

By being able to create their own apps, teams can automate repetitive tasks and ultimately save time (and time = money).
SAP Build has allowed my org to better enforce consistent compliance standards across teams since each team is able to reuse organization-level logic, but put their own spin on it.

I'd like to first thank you, Sap, for building this tool. Every now and then, a client comes with a request to have something that he can handle and have a lot less coding required. If their budget allows, we particularly recommend using SAP Build for his requirements and we have some amazing talent in-house to use its low-code environment.

Pros

Its drag and drop editor is even simpler than the very popular WordPress
No code feature to build any type of website
Not a lot of technical expertise is required to use this tool
The client loves it as they can themselves use it for quick tweaks

Cons

Not sure for every site, but sometimes the code does not work well on specific Android devices like Samsung s20 and s20 FE
It is not as modern like some other tools available in the market like Canva
The UI could be better

By ROI, we have seen significant growth in our net profits.
There aren't a lot of SAP Build devs out there, so we get some handsome hourly rate for that work.
