We use SAP S/4 Hana as our ERP system. We implemented SAP Digital Manufacturing on 4 plants. SAP Digital Manufacturing connects our S/4 with the shop floor systems and helps with the shop floor execution and the data collection.

- There are many gaps in reporting and insights. MDOs do not have the fields that we are looking for
- No triggers to time based data collection by operators
- No ability to track the status of data collections
- No good way to use the back up resources

- As it is cloud based product, quarterly upgrades impacts the production and needs effort and resources for testing
- Product is not fully matured. It still has bugs
