Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used the Sign In App for three main functions: 1. To manage class attendance for ~200 residential clients who need to attend life-enrichment classes anywhere from once a week to 5x a week.
2. For drop-in center check-in, managing who came for services, what services they came for, and when.
3. For building site visitors - checking in visitors (clients, donors, event attendees, and guests).

Pros

  • Mobile check in for repeat visitors from their smart phone.
  • Class attendance via manual sign in or scanning a unique barcode.
  • Tracking entries and exits for classes, drop-in visits, and building visits.
  • Event check in.
  • Tracking visitors across multiple campuses and sites in one platform.

Cons

  • I wanted the ability to create recurring events (for classes) for example without having to manually recreate everything. I made the suggestion and the dev team started working on it before I left the company which was great! They want to improve their product.
  • Non-profit discounts would have been really nice, although their prices are relatively affordable.

Likelihood to Recommend

This is wonderful for managing visitors across multiple sites and campuses including pre-registration, special QR codes for repeat visitors, email communications, check-in alerts (especially if someone arrives to see a specific staff member, for example), space management inside the building (visitors can check out/reserve specific spaces created based on the floor plan of your building), and mobile check in with geofencing is really cool! We tried to use it for class attendance and it worked, but improvements to make that easier were on the way.
