An easy and smart PDF manager

Pros

  • It provides a very neat and clean interface which helps users to operate it very effectively.
  • This software is capable of signing documents digitally.
  • With this software, users can protect their documents by adding password protection.
  • This software can merge multiple pdf files into one.

Cons

  • After the edit when I see my documents in full screen view, I find the header of my documents blocked by editing tools.
  • Its Url to PDF creator doesn't work well.
  • It does not have mobile application for PDF editing

  • It saves our printing cost for signing documents. We sign our documents electronically.
  • It creates a very good impact on our clients when we send them documents in PDF formats. All the documents in PDF formats look neat and clean.

Pros

  • OCR comes in handy when you need to scan a document image for embedded text for edits. This feature is a common tool but the accuracy of OCR helps for quick edits.
  • Conversion options are a plus and a must-have when you need to convert between Microsoft Office and PDF.
  • During the pandemic, the ability to offer digital signing with personalized signatures is a major plus. Glad to have this tool available when needed.

Cons

  • Spooling of batch printing could cause the program to freeze up. However, I believe this has to deal with internal ram and not the actual software.
  • Locating files after creating them could be hard if you were unfamiliar with setting this feature up. It defaults to the program folder documents. You can choose a different location. Maybe asking the question ahead of time could ease those that are not in the know about making this correction.
  • Faster loading would be helpful. Sometimes it lags when you create a file as it opens the program for viewing. This may depend on internal ram, however, I have not had the luxury of testing the software on a high-end PC.

Most Important Features

  • File conversion is very important, along with OCR PDF creation.
  • Digital signatures are now being used to sign off on projects. This tool is awesome.
  • License costs are a major plus. Thank goodness software options like Soda PDF are available to those who can't afford the costs of Adobe Acrobat.

Return on Investment

  • A recent project came across my desk where we had to recreate static files into editable word documents. Thank goodness for the OCR feature. It made for an almost flawless conversion. Minor edit here and there, no fault of the program. It was more due to the file quality of the original scan. Saved me time.
  • The feedback option is another plus: The review/comment function is great for easily getting document feedback. We just started using this feature. Another time-saver.
  • Document management due to file conversion options makes it easier to keep documents all in one place. Also, the ability to share these documents with coworkers is a major plus!
