We use Teradata Vantage as our enterprise data warehouse platform. We ingest data from internal systems (i.e. EHR, HR, GL) and external vendors (i.e. benchmarking, claims, reference data) in order to provide insights for patient care, finance and labor forecasting, operational reporting, and many other use cases throughout the organization. Teradata provides us with the ability to quickly ingest large volumes of this data and make it available to our business intelligence and advanced analytics applications.

As a data scientist , I work closely with Teradata Vantage to develop and deploy various ETL processes and data pipelines, especially for risk management and analytical purposes. It plays a critical role in supporting data-driven decision making and ensuring realiable access to histoircal and operational data.

  • It integrates really well with Python, facilitating orchestration and different automations.

  • Documentation is clumsy, and often misses hands-on examples

It serves as our central repository to ensure data accuracy, a unified data view, and secure information handling." We are also leveraging Vantage's analytical capabilities to develop predictive models based on the information stored in the datawarehouse, without needing to transfer it to another technological solution and executing everything in-database.

I use Teradata from the SQL Assistant to perform queries on the Banco Patagonia data warehouse to analyze incident cases, test cases, and test verification. I can't find any product issues in my organization. I work as a senior data analyst, performing queries on the Teradata database on which our data warehouse is built.
