Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Trinet to manage our payroll, employee benefits and 401(k) options. We also track employee documents for historical purposes and compensation changes.
We were in a position where our previous provider was changing to a subscription model which outpriced our business from their offering. Trinet was able to find a solution that matched our needs, pricing and provided a benefit savings for the company and employees as a whole.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TriNet to assist us with all human resource issues, payroll processing and HR training. The use of TriNet has streamlined all our processes that we need to do for Human Resources. Submitting payroll is simple and they have mistake prevention. They do this by allowing changes for a small window of time after submitting payroll. The resources and training keep me up to date on everything from new laws to solving issues that arise.

We use Trinet for our payroll processing, Medical and Dental Benefits, 401K, and HR for assistance. I have been with my company for over 4 years and the company has been using Trinet since 2016. The online processing is simple along with the onboarding of new employees. Of all the payroll companies I have used in other jobs this one is simple and straightforward. They answer questions as they arise. Very professional with their clients. Trinet being a PEO company is best to use as the HR laws are cumbersome and keep changing. They have all the tools we need available to use. They take care of the taxes and reporting. Their reports are simple to use and during PPP they had sample reports to use and enter our information. They keep their clients apprised of new laws or changes for HR or Payroll.

I use TriNet for payroll, benefits management, and benchmarking. TriNet is SO helpful with these different functions. I always feel extremely supported when I need guidance or assistance. TriNet helps me navigate other issues such as managing accommodation requests and things like termination laws in various states, as we are a multi-state employer.

Pros

Payroll - the platform is extremely easy to use and my Payroll contact, Kiersten, is quick to respond anytime I need her help
Open Enrollment - the comms TriNet sends out to both me as an admin and the people who use TriNet benefits is very clear
Benchmarking - I recently had a meeting about full service benchmarking and it was very informative and helpful

Cons

It would be nice to have updated rates for health insurance sooner than we get them (I think we get them in March or April and have to make decisions on moving forward within a month or so. It feels like a tight turnaround time)
Pricing - maybe a clearer breakdown of feeds and what's included would help
Anytime I email LOA for support it feels like the response time is VERY slow
