If you run a sales office and VanillaSoft is a great CRM to easily track your contacts. The calendar functionality is great and all leads are easily searchable. Outbound product sales is a scenario that would warrant the use of VanillaSoft. A scenario where VanillaSoft might not be very well suited is if your sales required bookings or event planning.

It falls best at a place where customization is the key requirement. The endless possibilities and the customization it offers are mind-blowing. However, the same customization sometimes comes up to be a problem. It gets too complex and complicated at times to set up everything, especially in the initial phase of using this software.
