We are a managed service provider who supplies backup solutions for our clients. All of our client's require daily backups to maintain data security. Having a reliable backup solution is imperative. We install Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows for our clients who need backup replication and for some of our smaller clients with older systems as it is very reliable and cheaper than most solutions.

  • An easier interface to navigate, sometimes it can take a while to find what your looking for in settings
  • It could be made easier to update from older versions to the current version, possibly in the client would help

The agents handle all communication back to the Veeam backup and recovery console.

We are using Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows in production servers to have an additional secondary backup solution. They are set up to retain historic copies and are also configured to alert the associated admins through email. Also, make full copies after one or two weeks of operation. Till now, they have never failed to launch.
