Stripe may be better for internet and virtual focused sales, while ERPLY shines with their POS system and reader for physical transactions and sales. Stripe has never offered us a physical card reader and the customer support for ERPLY seems to be great and well-versed in the …
Stitch labs is less mobile friendly but suits our needs for handling lots of ecommerce sites and Amazon accounts in one place. They were able to get us the custom report we were looking for and it works without issue. It does not have the accounting functions that ERPLY offered …
Revel Systems has a much more intuitive user interface and reporting suite than Micros, which was our previous POS system. It's also more equipped to handle multiple types of service than something like Square. We ultimately went with Revel because of the inventory tracking …
I personally was not part of the process when Revel was decided on, but I did have the whole process of setup and clean up of things. Overall, it is a good product, solid, and has so many features that I didn't even get to dive into because it just wasn't applicable to our …
Square - Used Square with our entire menu for over 3 months. Doesn't handle food applications well.
Shopkeep - While promising, doesn't offer a delivery management in any way, and online ordering is handled through third-party which is more expensive and more time-consuming to …
The POS system of ERPLY has no major issues that we have noticed or that have prevented us from being able to accomplish something for the task at hand. A specific scenario in which ERPLY is well suited is the scenario of needing to have a customer pay for a service or a purchase and not having a payment reader available and being unable to match up payment methods with what consumers of today use such as Apple Pay, Venmo, etc. ERPLY works well for this as it does integrate with Apple Pay but moreover works well like any POS should to allow the transaction to happen.
When we first started looking at Revel Systems they were more restaurant friendly but they have adapted very well to our retail needs. This system is very easy to operate and maintain, from the POS to the management console. We are able to monitor and run reports for all three of our locations from one URL.
They were not able to adapt to help us with backorder reports, export function they created for us never worked properly and ultimately they were unable to fix.
In our accounts, we ship to different countries from the same stock, these countries have different ecomm sites, they were unable to integrate with more than one ecomm site, requiring us to manually put in the second site orders which was hugely time consuming.
We invested a lot of money and time without progress. We found it difficult to work with their engineers overseas even our UK team couldn't connect with them and in the US we found our NY rep without answers.
More personal dedicated customer service which they went away from and went to general support even though we still pay for elevated customer service access.
We have put an incredible amount of time into the set up, organization and clean up of this product. Now that it is working and flowing a little better, it would be inconvenient and potentially a bad move if we were to go anywhere else now.
It can be a bit difficult at the beginning but gets easier as long as you are taking advantage of Revel University, Help, and Customer Service when you get stuck
We got excellent support from Revel whenever we needed it. I personally worked with several Revel client support reps, and they were all extremely dedicated and helpful in assisting with any problem we had.
Stitch Labs is less mobile friendly but suits our needs for handling lots of ecommerce sites and Amazon accounts in one place. They were able to get us the custom report we were looking for and it works without issue. It does not have the accounting functions that ERPLY offered so we needed to invest in separate software. this was a definite down side. Their chat feature is much better than ERPLY and the staff is responsive.
Revel Systems has a much more intuitive user interface and reporting suite than Micros, which was our previous POS system. It's also more equipped to handle multiple types of service than something like Square. We ultimately went with Revel because of the inventory tracking function. We thought it stacked up better against its competitors.
