GetResponse is an online marketing platform optimized for use by small businesses. It provides tools which support email marketing, autofunnel, landing pages, marketing automation, webinars, autoresponders, and enterprise marketing needs.
ActiveCampaign is easier to use and has a better cost-benefit than the other two. GetResponse automation is really confusing and the Seninblue platform has the worst usability in general. Being simples to use and having good and scalable prices, I prefer ActiveCampaign.
ActiveCampaign is an all-in-one platform. Over Mailchimp, I prefer how the automations are configured and the easiness of combining them into multiple workflows. Over GetResponse, it is the overall preference.
We started out using Mailchimp, which worked well enough for the beginning stages of our business. However, it became clear that Mailchimp was limited, especially when it comes to building more sophisticated automated campaigns.
In my own experience, I found Active Campaign more intuitive than GetResponse. Additionally, Active Campaign does not duplicate users like GetResponse does when they are subscribed to multiple lists at the same time.
Before using ActiveCampaign we used GetResponse and Mailchimp and were not satisfied. ActiveCampaign is a lot lot better. We're now almost 4 years with ActiveCampaign and we're very satisfied. It has a great intuitive interface, better in terms of usability than GetResponse …
It's been four years, so things might have changed in the meantime. Mailchimp did not offer segmentation then. CleverReach's segmentation was not sufficient. GetResponse did not let me edit the double opt-in emails. Sendinblue did not play nicely with ThriveLeads.
I have used Ontraport, Infusionsoft, HubSpot, AWeber, GetResponse among several others. I believe that of these choices ActiveCampaign is by far the best option. It is easier to use, less expensive, delivers emails without issues and offers fantastic customer service. …
The fact that it combines email, CRM, and automations between them makes it such a force to be reconned with. Its plans are reasonable and moving up from a basic plan allows 25 users for one price. This is great compared to Hubspot. It's much smoother than Mailchimp and much …
ActiveCampaign is the most intuitive out of all of the ones I've used. Their visual automation builder is great. I felt like every other option that I had previously played with just felt more confusing. I tested out many other tools while also using ActiveCampaign and I just …
You've got to know what you want the software to do and then find software that covers as much of those needs as possible. AC had most of the features we wanted - mostly native connectivity with Salesforce and scalability. Their support structure was a HUGE selling point too. …
I always recommend ActiveCampaign to clients primarily because we can import funnels into their accounts which saves us a tremendous amount of time. I also feel that ActiveCampaign's automation is a step above other platforms. They are easier for me to visualize what's …
Dollar for dollar, you get more out of AC than any other platform. Their package levels combined with their billing based on list size gives you the best value for the money. AC also gives the most useful features for the money (at least in my use case) and integrates into my …
Well each of those products has their pros and cons, I guess for us it was just a natural progression with sticking to one great solution provider [that has] offered some better, or let's say strategically different features for us. And we love the service and support at …
They were all good but I was really searching for an intuitive automation builder and none is more clear and easy to use than Active Campaign's. It's super easy to see what will happen.
ActiveCampaign offers the best solutions in terms of automation and reporting, which are fundamental for email marketing. Moreover, it has the best user experience.
ActiveCampaign is light years ahead of the other product I listed above. The ActiveCampaign system is so intuitive and easy to use. There are so many options to use to customize my experience and deliver content powerfully to my list. The integration with ClickFunnels was so …
ActiveCampaign is reasonably priced and provides the most powerful suite of features for email marketing, email automation, and CRM features. I love the power of integrating my email marketing tool with my website and sales funnels. The automation options are endless and almost …
Although these service providers are good and maybe better for starters, if you want to take your email marketing game a step further, you will need a tool like ActiveCampaign. I still like and occasionally use MailChimp, but for more sophisticated work I use ActiveCampaign. …
Over the years we have worked with quite a few email platforms. We feel that GetResponse is a solid competitor. The CRM side is not as strong as a product like Keep but we don't expect it to be. If we are really being fair and comparing apples to apples, then GetResponse is as …
I've been using ActiveCampaign since around 2018-2019 and I've always been satisfied with the software. It's simple to use, connects with the other tools I use and makes it easy for me to duplicate automations, email templates and workflows as I need to. On top of that, any time I've had an issue (which I think is around twice in the past 5/6 years), the customer service has always been super helpful and my issue has been resolved quickly.
GetResponse is good for marketing automation newbies that want a powerful platform without a steep learning curve. It appears to have a strong set of tools for creating automated sequences, but it's not your solution for large enterprise usage. Also, seeing as how competitive the market's become, while it's not expensive per se, it is a bit on the pricey side relative to some.
The email designing part could be easier to use. There are certain simple shortcuts that don't work, for example, adding links is more complicated than it should be, moving blocks around is hard, etc.
There's no good way to filter by 'active' and 'inactive' subscribers when editing en-mass.
I am committed at the moment. Rebuilding the automations I have would be a huge time drain. Plus the cost of learning a new system and the risk to deliverability of porting a 6,000 person list to a new platform. Also, AC offers everything I need ast a reasonable (but a little high) price. So, why not a 10? Because, early 2023, AC dropped a massive 2x price hike on long-term customers. They knew few would shift, so this feels like a cynical cash grab and left a bad taste, If they do something like this again, this camel will have a broken back.
As I mentioned before. I believe that the platform is easy to use. Simple and easy process from start to finish. Email efficient and get to the client quickly. Catch errors that would prevent getting to where i need it to go. Overall great experience and would renew without question
ActiveCampaign has been the easiest marketing automation software we have ever used. They provide tips throughout the entire process of anything you are building. Their support team through LIVE CHAT has been extremely fast and helpful. The monthly meetings provided with the enablement team has helped us through several large and urgent needs.
I haven't experienced application errors or unplanned outages at all. Active Campaign is ultra reliable and I would not be using them if that were the case. Also, the helpful emails they send are welcomed and informative, and present very practical tips and guidance for using the platform. They're always demonstrating new features and I'm thankful for that.
Oh my gosh, Active Campaign's performance gets an A+++ in my book. The pages load quickly and so do the reports. I haven't noticed any slowdowns when it's integrating with other programs and it performs excellently on all levels.
This might be the best part. The chat support lady offered to make a video to help me solve my problem. I worked in customer service for years and I've never done that, lol. So, if they're offering things like that, I can only imagine that they'd be able to handle most any issue you throw at them.
Very satisfied with our implementation in our professional medical practice, allowing us to be on top of client service, and not miss out on crucial information and insights. Marketing is often neglected in professional practices and ActiveCampaign solved this problem with aplomb.
I transitioned from Mailchimp to ActiveCampaign because it was so much more user friendly and allowed me to do a lot more in regards to lead magnets than Mailchimp can. For example, ActiveCampaign allows users to sign up for a lead magnet as many times as they like to keep receiving it (in case they've lost or deleted the email with access to the lead magnet). Mailchimp was unable to do this. And the categorization of users and the trigger email sequencing was a lot easier in ActiveCampaign.
Over the years we have worked with quite a few email platforms. We feel that GetResponse is a solid competitor. The CRM side is not as strong as a product like Keep but we don't expect it to be. If we are really being fair and comparing apples to apples, then GetResponse is as good as any of these other products. Especially in the area of the visual builder, I honestly think it is just about as good as Keep. And it is better than some of these other products. Again, keeping in mind the cost and the niche GetResponse fills, it stacks up very well against the other products we have used.
My web designer told me about Active Campaign and although I don't recall which platform I had before, I LOVE Active Campaign and its user friendliness. The transition was seamless and I've never had a problem with functionality or server failure.
Active Campaign provides so many features, and makes it easy for non-techies to maneuver around the site with ease. They capture information and put it in an easy-to-read format.
At this point, I don't think I'd ever use any other platform!
Our marketing emails have been much more professional, scheduled, beautiful, and manageable since switching AWAY from GetResponse, so in that sense the platform did not provide the kind of ROI we'd prefer.
For delivering our regular daily newsletter, GetResponse has served us well and has delivered at an above-average rate to our mailing list.
