Later Social
Chose Later Social
In my opinion, Later Social covers way more platforms than Salsa. I would much rather use Later Social. My org wanted me to use Salsa so it's all in the same place, but it is not as user friendly to me, and doesn't cover as many platforms as Later Social.
Chose Later Social
Later is hands-down the best platform I have used for planning and scheduling content.
Chose Later Social
I went with Later for the lower cost subscription. The Hootsuite copy features is missed, but Later has hashtag suggestions which is nice. I really need something to post across multiple platforms. I also needed the ability to schedule more than the 5 free scheduled posts …
Chose Later Social
It's superior. Simply put. Later has better features and stronger functionalities, many of which none of these other tools have. When I used any of the previous tools there was always something missing so I had no choice but to work with two or three tools at the same time. …
Chose Later Social
As a social media manager I find that Buffer, Hootsuite and Sproutsocial are superior to all features available on Later.
Chose Later Social
Hootsuite works well but I appreciate the ability to add Stories directly from Later which helps us be more engaging and productive with our posting.
Chose Later Social
Hootsuite is still working with push notifications, (an extra annoying step) that Later has eliminated! Hootesuite places to many limits on user profiles which means the need for multiple accounts Later has eliminated these roadblocks in productivity.
Chose Later Social
I’ve used a lot of different scheduling apps over the last 4 years but what I like most about Later is that it is one of Instagram's recognized partners, resulting in being allowed to access certain features. For example, Later and a few others are the only ones that are …
Chose Later Social
Sprout Social is a great tool, however, the price for a smaller company like ours was prohibitive. Later doesn't have LinkedIn support the way Sprout Social does, however Later does have unique product offerings for Instagram that ultimately set them apart for our team. We've …
Chose Later Social
I considered Hootsuite, but I don't think they have a free plan.
Chose Later Social
We evaluated multiple social media scheduling programs and ultimately selected a service apart from Later, but with the addition of their new tools, we are looking to potentially go back. Later was always one of our frontrunners, and with its new improvements, we will likely be …
Chose Later Social
Later is very affordable and kind of a hidden gem. While Sprout Social provides analytics that Later doesn't have, that's not a feature we were looking for. Multiple users do not cost extra money and the number of posts you get based on your plan is more than enough even if you …
Chose Later Social
Later is great specifically for Instagram. If you're looking for something to manage all of your social channels in, Later is not the tool for you.
Chose Later Social
I've also used Planoly, which is what I switched from. Later by far is easier to use and manage and view. I like all the upgrade options and I like the blog posts to help navigate using the interface and also using Instagram. If I saw more results on Instagram I'd be all in, …
Wrike
Chose Wrike
I think Wrike is comparable against these competitors - it reminds me of Trello the most in terms of interface. I did not personally select Wrike, I am a user, not the purchase decision maker.
Chose Wrike
I like Wrike best. I liked Asana, but I think it got too pricey for the features that we wanted out of it. Notion was fine, but I think its ability to integrate with the rest of our tech stack proved difficult. Trello was fine, it was early in my career and I remember its ease …
Chose Wrike
I'm in the process of evaluating ClickUp, and so far, it seems far more robust in the areas that matter (integrations, automation, speed, ease of use) where it could apply to small and medium orgs. I have another call with ClickUp and if their pricing holds, we may end up …
Chose Wrike
Jira is really geared towards IT organizations. It is far more complex to use so it has a steeper learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it does have more customization capabilities and it offers more functionalities, such as extra fields, types of graphs, etc.... …
Chose Wrike
Wrike provides multiple use cases on managing workflow through the various range of functionalities provided. Trello more so provides a straight forward way to obtain a full scope view of projects, but Wrike is more comprehensive in managing all stages.
Chose Wrike
Wrike is definitely easier to use and easier to teach team members to use
Chose Wrike
We use both Wrike and Smartsheet to satisfy our necessities. Smartsheet gives us a platform to input more information, while in Wrike we stablish contact with our customers for proofing before product development; information that goes directly into our Smartsheet once the …
Chose Wrike
differnt platform and different user features
Chose Wrike
ClickUp and Wrike look very different - when I think of Wrike, I think of larger tasks, but ClickUp I used for smaller lists & used the calendar view more.
Chose Wrike
The visuals are appealing and make it user friendly. It is similar to adobe programs with functionality for approval and editing of documents.
Chose Wrike
Great for large project and/or complex projects. However there can be a learning curve. I would possibly choose a different platform if I am working with non-techy team members.
Chose Wrike
Wrike is better than both as it allows for greater visibility and is more similar to an excel based system, which i think has a much better initial understanding of all users.
Chose Wrike
Very similar. Our global team used Wrike when we merged so we all moved to the same platform
Chose Wrike
Wrike has been a helpful benchmark of industry standard. Many people who have used other similar platforms have been able to easily transition to Wrike.
Chose Wrike
I have used inhouse project management tool in my previous company.
It was very slow compared to Wrike, visualisation is better in Wrike, they did not have customised template increasing repetitive work, the tool used in previous company was very slow as it takes like a lot of …
Chose Wrike
Figma is similar in many regards from the ways I've used it. Wrike is far superior to Workamajig in terms of visual language and ease of use; however, Workamajig seems to be more robust for the expansive needs of an agency.
Chose Wrike
It's a bit more user friendly than salesforce
Chose Wrike
They all have pros and cons, but Workfront is the most robust, while Asana is the middle ground for affordability that meets all our teams’ needs.
Chose Wrike
Wrike is very similar, but the others integrate with our overall Microsoft organization better
Chose Wrike
Wrike has a much deeper feature set than Trello, though does cost significantly more. Azure Devops is better suited to developer workflows out of the box but overall, I would be inclined to use Wrike due to the simpler UX/UI.
Chose Wrike
Wrike always works - it's always up-to-date, never down, and our one source of truth.
I wish the mobile version of Wrike was more usable, but that's the only thing where Wrike may not be the front runner.
Chose Wrike
Much prefer Wrike - easier to use and much better for the teams that use them as well as managers and team leads
Chose Wrike
In my opinion, Wrike is very similar to Asana (Asana has Wrike beat when it comes to completing tasks. Who doesn't enjoy seeing a rainbow unicorn fly across the screen when marking a task complete). Jira is also very similar but a bit more robust as it integrates with Aha for …
Chose Wrike
There are similarities in offerings, but Wrike is more friendly in the visual presentation of the projects.

Later is great for not only small and large businesses, but also for influencers who want a curated feed that they can easily auto-publish. If you need to tag your Instagram photos on a consistent basis, that might be a struggle, but in general, for the minimal cost and features, Later is well worth the cost. Additionally, their technical support takes 24-28 hours to respond to via chat, but it's within the software so it's very simple.

Negotiations often involve long timelines and multiple rounds of discussion. Wrike allows us to assign clear ownership, track due dates, and monitor progress so that nothing stalls or gets lost. Redlines, proposals, and finalized agreements can be stored and shared within Wrike, reducing reliance on scattered email chains and ensuring everyone is working from the most current version.

Pros
  • Allows you to schedule Instagram Stories Content. No other tool that I have tried allows this feature.
  • Great analytics available for Instagram - something that lacks on many other platforms.
  • The LinkIn.Bio feature allows you to drive traffic to multiple sources, which is helpful for accounts without a swipe-up link.
  • It's easy to switch between accounts if you are managing multiple brands and platforms.

  • different views to accommodate different users workflow
  • predecessors and successors to tie tasks together and adjust dates as a group
  • Being able to see other people's workloads so when I am planning my projects for the upcoming quarter, I can set a project delivery date that is better suited to workload and is more realistic

Cons
  • Would be wonderful if there was a way to copy posts easily.
  • Would be nice to view posts without opening like you plan to edit them. Just want to preview them like an email.
  • Would be nice to be able to schedule posts to Facebook Groups.

  • Templating.
  • For example, let's say we are onboarding a new client. There are certain tasks that need to be done. It would be great to be able to create a new project and have certain tasks preloaded.
  • Importing.
  • Importing may seem easy, but there is so much nuance to it. The fact that you need to make sure the parent task comes before child tasks is very difficult to do without the help of AI. Also, I am not sure it is possible if you have a thousand tasks to import, to make sure that you have a folder structure and parent/child tasks.
  • I also find that the documentation is lacking and the 2 import methods lacking as well.
  • Customize my inbox. When I log into Wrike, my Inbox is the first thing I see, but this doesn't show the full picture of what I want it.

I wish that Wrike had more drag and drop functionality that would be connected to assignee and also I wish that the finish date of a task would update to the date where you checked completed. It does not do that. Also finishing a task doesn't move the start date of the next task it "protects your time in that way", but our management team wants us to quickly see what we have down the pipeline rather than having to scroll down the list of upcoming tasks.

Usability
The desktop site is almost perfect, I love it. I love that I can drag and drop, I love that I can easily and quickly switch to analytics and switching profiles... love the ease of link in bio. so great!

I love the way task management is designed within Wrike. The full overview, followed by sequential updates, really works for us - this way, we don't need to go into individual people's work subtasks to find what's happening with a project. That's very useful from a project management perspective. The to-do feature also lets everyone access info in one place.

Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

Wrike tasks loads fine, but I hate clicking files and wait for a bit of time since it is powerpoint or word, Wrike assumes I want to open those on Wrike. My suggestion is to link it to office 365 so we do not need Wrike based decoder for PPTX and DOCX

Later are not just a software tool, they also provide marketing advice, tips, and tutorials via their blog. I’ve only had to reach out to them for help a few times and have found them to respond much faster than other tools in their category. I receive weekly emails with updates, marketing tips and invites to online events. I look forward to their emails as I’ve learned a lot of things that I’ve been able to actually implement.

We've had so many questions during the establishment of Wrike for our team, and the Wrike support team has exceeded our expectations. Our team is naturally curious, and the Wrike support team has always been willing to hold conversations about how we can make an idea work, to show us hidden features that delight us, and to help us plan ways to build out projects efficiently. They meet our questions with multiple solutions and best practices

I love the Wrike training options. Wrike Discover has tons of courses, learning plans, certifications, etc. This is an area where Wrike definitely shines! I wish these resources were more in your face for new people, because it seems like a lot of coworkers didn't know all of this training was available to them.

There are a lot of bells and whistles in Wrike, and not all of it is easy or intuitive to understand once it's plopped in your lap. It's easier when there are a few choice people who understand Wrike as a platform and articulate it in such a way where it makes it easy to pass it along to others in the group

Jira did not at all help us get our work done as content creators. I think that was because Jira wasn't quite right for our uses. Wrike fits our needs so much better. I can't tell you enough the relief I felt when we adopted Wrike and I never had to use Jira again.

  • Later has at least made me accountable for my content calendar. It helps me schedule posts in advance and allows me to see what my page will look like so I can visually plan out content.
  • Later has helped me post a few times with the auto-post feature. It's been great for my static images, but I just wish I could do it for everything!

  • Wrike has improved our resource management significantly.
  • Wrike has improved the request intake process for us.
  • One negative impact of using Wrike is that we had to include Workato for some customised automations, which were not supported by Unito, but this can be on a need-to basis.
