The combination of calendar and note-taking, addresses the problem of convenience, especially when it comes to meetings that involve presentation - you usually have hundreds of tabs open, hence having software that can at least combine 2 of these tabs into one is a lot of help since you are usually off your double screen during such meetings.

This is a huge step forward for digital meeting notes

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

For me, having a single place where everyone I work with (both inside and outside the organization) can collaborate on projects as well as keep track of meetings, talks, and decisions is a need. Hugo - Meeting Notes Software fills that need. Previously, our meeting notes were stored in SaaS systems such as Slack and the Google Suite. We now have them all in one location. As a result of using many tools to record our notes, we felt a little out of place. Our notes were a jumbled web of possibilities. It was difficult for us to locate our notes from critical meetings since we could not locate them quickly enough. It's now all in one place: Hugo, where we can access our company's note-taking history. The issue has been resolved without any bother or muss.

Pros

  • Hugo - Meeting Notes Software removes ambiguity and uncertainty from discussions.
  • Participants from both inside and outside the organization can work together on agendas and minutes before and after the meeting.
  • The Hugo extension for Google Calendar may be used to arrange and follow up on meetings, both online and offline, as part of your Google calendar.

Cons

  • Instead of allowing the user to pick and then rearrange meetings, Hugo - Meeting Notes Software appears to gray out past events.
  • When it comes to finding notes, there are simply too many alternatives and a correspondingly poor user experience.
  • I'd like to be able to delete multiple tasks at once. When I go behind, I need a new start.

Return on Investment

  • Hugo - Meeting Notes Software is a great tool for keeping track of all the details of your meetings in one place. Minutes, tasks, and any other important information are included here.
  • An easy-to-use app
  • Intuitive
  • It's a time saver

Hugo Meeting Notes Basic is Helping our Firm stay organized across many different cases

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Hugo is a very cool meeting platform, that we are currently using in our firm on a testing basis. It works with my calendar and just integrates the agenda for a meeting as well as any meeting notes that come from the meeting. Everyone sees the same thing and the interface is very pleasing. You can create follow up meetings while you are in the current meeting and you can link to previous meetings so there is a timelines showing the continuity of the project. The idea is that Hugo shows you all meetings in one place, all notes related to those meetings, and related meetings in the future/past. So far, we really like it. Especially useful for lawyers who are constantly moving from meeting to meeting (on different topics).

Pros

  • Shares agenda for meetings and allows people to contribute to meeting
  • Allows you to schedule future meetings while in the meeting

Cons

  • Platform is pretty simple and we use basic; there are probably many features we have not yet realized exist
  • I don't think many other firms are using it, so can't use across the profession

Return on Investment

  • Helped our internal meetings stay organized
  • Tracked history of meetings
  • Keeps notes with the meetings calendar entry
