Best free fax service I've used

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

If I have to fax something to anyone i use iFax so that I don't have to use an actual fax machine. It's the best way to send information and forms to agencies and other business that still don't use Email as a means of transmitting information between each other.

Pros

  • it's easy to use
  • there is a free plan for those that just need to fax a couple pages
  • they send you updates and confirmations of your faxes

Cons

  • I'd like to see a better free plan that offers more
  • make it look more fun
  • help both parties understand that faxing is outdated and email is much easier and always free no matter what.

Return on Investment

  • iFax has a fairly positive impact on my business due to it being easy and quick to send less than 5 pages to government agencies that don't use email to send documents and forms in a quick manner.

iFax for modern business is convenient

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In the modern restaurant environment we no longer have a dedicated fax line, the needs of the business have changed drastically. There are still some areas where a fax is the most convenient way to send out information. Using iFax allows us to do this on a case-by-case basis for a small payment without having a monthly or annual fee, saving us the additional expense while allowing us the on-demand convenience of a fax when needed.

Pros

  • Provides basic cover sheet
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • Upload document easily

Cons

  • Cover sheet was good but perhaps flexibility for more options and fast keyboard entry speed (was a tad bit chunky to enter the text)

Return on Investment

  • It allows us to save costs on faxing.

iFax Helps the Little Guy!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use iFax once in a while to send documents when they cannot be sent digitally as PDFs. Usually it is for government-related document filing. It is almost always only 1 or 2 pages and rarely is it more than once or twice a quarter. Given this low volume and frequency, the iFax service works really well for me.

Pros

  • The sign-up to use their service was really easy.
  • The online dashboard for my account was intuitive and had a nice look.
  • Setting up the account so I was ready to send my first fax was smooth and simple.
  • Sending my first fax was very simple and took very little time.

Cons

  • I have only used iFax one time and I have not found any areas of improvement yet.

Return on Investment

  • iFax helped me get paperwork submitted to a government agency that would not take a digital document. Getting the paperwork submitted now allowed my business to be eligible for certain contracts and other revenue-generation possibilities.
