We use JobBoss as our primary ERP. We use it from start to finish when creating a job, ordering components, tracking costs, and eventually billing the customer. We are relatively new to JobBoss, as we have had it for some years but are making a push to utilize it more.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use JobBOSS² to create packing slips to bill customers properly, track parts throughout our facility, make purchase orders, estimate, and more. We also use the software to batch in and out of jobs, start and stop time on jobs, calculate estimated hours vs actual hours and generate scheduling lists.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use JobBOSS² for all estimating and scheduling purposes in our sheet metal manufacturing plant. Our company consists of 64 employees. We pair JobBOSS² with QuickBooks and they work extremely well together. As long as the information you enter into JobBOSS² is accurate, it will be your best friend! Highly recommend. Only downfall is inventory is difficult to keep track of but I have yet to find an ERP that does this well.

  • Love the accounting section of the system
  • Easy to allocate material to each job

  • Job costing could be improved to include secondary processes
