Pros

  • Real time data makes for more accurate decisions
  • Easy navigation to any department within a few clicks
  • Visual features to assist in making employees accountable
  • ROI was achieved faster than expected

Cons

  • Customer PO pricing structure
  • Vendor PO pricing structure
  • Business Management Module to where customer/vendor charts and graphs can be created.
  • Schedule though is very easy and quite thorough, could use some improvements.

  • ProShop ROI was faster than expected. It has made us more profitable in every aspect of our company.

Pros

  • ProShop knows how machine shops run and what is required information for all levels of the company.
  • Quoting and costing is both quick and thorough. We have confidence in our numbers!
  • The support is timely and friendly. They consider all new ideas and explain how to use best use features very well.
  • Traceability is above and beyond. We know where everything is, where it came from and where it is going.

Cons

  • While support staff will be quick to help very advanced features still don't have all the documentation needed at times to solve problems on our own.
  • Elements of the interface are could be polished for a more appealing aesthetic.

Return on Investment

  • We have zero regrets with implementing ProShop. It is a no-brainer compared the the labor cost associated with keeping track of the shop like it does.

Pros

  • Very forgiving system of any mistakes that might be made.
  • You are able to edit and customize most everything in ProShop to fit your needs/wants.
  • Info tabs all throughout proshop help explain what certain things are and what they do, also provide additional information pertaining to the subject.

Cons

  • Can be slightly overwhelming at first.
  • Unless you have a good understanding of how to write script and code the customization pages can be confusing.
  • Some of the system notifications can be a little confusing, such as the new rev flag that pops up when the rev for the part changes. We've had some issues with this causing problems to the parts later down the line when trying to transfer duplicate parts to a remake job.

Return on Investment

  • Much closer tracking and monitoring of PO spending.
  • Better tracking of spending over periods of time.

  • ProShop cloud-based deployment is very speedy and IT-friendly.
  • ProShop covers all of the specialty needs required by some. It is very complete.
  • ProShop handles job-progress tracking very well to ensure on-time delivery.

  • The tool database and inventory control could use flexibility on how tools are disbursed.
