QUBIT is a great tool that helps us stay agile and monitor the health of the revenue engine across marketing, sales, and customer, along with providing great data analytics and insights.

Usability

My experience with Qubit

Pros

  • Deploy/disable pixels to production on demand
  • Be able to control pixel position and firing criteria
  • Use a directory of third party vendors which makes it even faster

Cons

  • Reporting part is lacking
  • Copy pixels between containers no longer exists

Pros

  • Simple process for integrating Opentag onsite, fully managed service for ease of tag implementation (options are available if no technical expertise within your company)

Cons

  • Extension of marketing analytics capability for offsite marketing activity

Return on Investment

  • Increased speed of tag implementation (previously took a minimum of 2 weeks - can now be implemented instantly), freeing up tech time to work on other projects
  • Enables implementation of rules around tag firing to improve ROI e.g. affiliates tags only fire if certain criteria are met as opposed to all the time

Near-perfect tag management for a large eCommerce organisation

Pros

  • Easily enable or disable tags.
  • Great on-page script editing with Sublime Text style text editor.
  • Very useful filtering and dependency management.

Cons

  • Being able to preview in the same way Qubit Deliver experiments can be previewed would be a great feature before publishing changes.

Return on Investment

  • One of the most obvious and beneficial features is the huge reduction in HTTP requests, giving us a great site performance benefit.
  • Managing all of our tags in one place has removed a lot of potential complications.
