Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Pros
- Support: The amount of support I've received as an admin of the system is amazing! This is the 4th LMS system I've used. I've never had such a high level of support!
- Content Creation: I don't need a multitude of programs to upload to Tovuti LMS. I'm easily able to use the system or create a PowerPoint for my needs. This has saved our non-profit organization a ton of money!
- User Friendly: Tovuti LMS is user-friendly, not only for me but also for our users! Once in the system, our users find navigation simple.
Cons
- We desperately want (and need) to put parameters on usernames. We want to use email addresses. Having this be a system "requirement" as an option for admins to choose is on my high-priority list of needs.
- The ability to click and drag to reorder the layout and courses would be helpful. I spent a solid hour just yesterday reordering our media list so the oldest items were at the bottom instead of the top.
- Having an archive for courses, lessons, etc. no longer being used would be super helpful. Having to sort through all the "unpublished" items can take a ton of time.
Return on Investment
- Consistency in training our members and officers
- A place to house development trainings that can now be done on a member's own time instead of having to travel and do it live in one location
- An easy place to house employee policies that they can access from anywhere at any time
- The ability to offer training courses and topics previously not possible. Since we don't do all training in person, we can still offer personal development training
