Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

I currently work in the information security & compliance department of Digital Insight and we utilize QuickBase as a repository and tracking tool for various audit engagement, project management, and senior leadership reporting.

Pros

  • Secured mechanism to share sensitive data with business partners.
  • Automated reporting provide convenience for users.
  • Customized interfaces for role base access.

Cons

  • Table relationships: I'd like to be able to generate a many to many relationship.
  • Copy table functionality: I'd love to be able to just copy an existing table within the same app and modify/customize thereafter.
We do not utilize any other similar products.
The tool is perfect for purposes of sharing data [with] both internal and external business partners. The customization to limit access/view to specified defined roles provides flexibility to users. As a repository, it is a great place to archive documentation. Certain scenarios where it is not appropriate are to document sensitive materials (PII data) where encrypted formatting is required.
