Jobma is a cloud-based AI video interviewing platform offering a range of virtual interviewing tools, including pre-recorded one-way video interviewing, automated interview scheduling, and coding assessments for technical hiring. Its AI-powered features, such as automated scoring, proctoring, and transcriptions, are designed to prevent unconscious bias in hiring and save employers time. The platform integrates with popular ATS natively and 5,000+ apps using Zapier. Support is available…
HireVue isn't really in the same category at the other programs I listed so it's hard to compare them because they are all leveraged for very different purposes. HireVue was selected (to my knowledge) for its ease of use and the video interview recording function and I haven't …
I was not initially a part of the selection process for HireVue. Skype for Business is often recommended by the business since it is the current internal messaging platform. Unfortunately with Skype for Business we are not able to interview external candidates, evaluate …
HireVue only allows 4 people total for Live Interviewers. A lot of managers ask to set up WebExs to include a larger interview team. However, HireVue is better than WebEx due to the fact that you can send out OnDemand tests to the candidates prior to submitting them to the …
I have used Rivs in the past and really thought it was a great tool to use. However, HireVue has more case studies, allows you to engage with the community of Hirevue and is always giving pointers/tips. I felt a little on my own with Rivs unless the rep was calling and checking …
We went with HireVue because they are great at what they do! They have great support and truly care about the customer's brand. If you don't have a brand yet, or are just starting out - that is great too! They help you. The other companies did not do that. As a bonus they offer …
HireVue is by far a much better product which is more user friendly and reliable. Excellent customer service. You come for the product you stay for the service.
Gray Peak doesn't even compare to HireVue. Where I think Gray Peak is a 2 or 3 out of 10, I am absolutely convinced that HireVue is a 10! Yes there are probably some tweaks for HireVue but this product is truly amazing. It impresses me each day with the volume that we are able …
We looked at Green Job Interview and another company but I don't recall their name. HireVue was more expensive in cost but overall value was better. They are a larger company with more support and have been established longer.
We haven't reviewed too many other competing products in this space. The feature set of HireVue addressed most of our needs fairly early on in our evaluation process.
ApplicantPro is a good recruiting program but HireVue does it better when it comes to seeing how the candidate really is. So instead of using ApplicantPro's interview software we have been able to use both of them hand in hand which has been a really nice combination. …
We prefer HireVue due to the ease of use and the recording function as compared to Skype. Zoom is a platform one of our clients elected to go with and already had in place, I can't say we fully evaluated it, however, my limited knowledge would say the two are comparable.
As this is my first time in recruiting, I personally have not used similar products to HireVue. I can image that HireVue's simplicity and user friendly application is definitely something that makes this tool unique compared to other companies. HireVue also has excellent …
HireVue is much more innovative and new compared to the aforementioned products. I enjoy using HireVue because it's new software, and it is constantly changing and being updated.
I have never used any other one-way products, so I can't compare. We also don't use HireVue for live interviewing purposes only for one-way interviewing. I would be interested in seeing how one-way interviewing compares to live interviewing. In addition, how HireVue compares to …
Our current cost point is appealing and we have only received positive feedback from users and hiring managers. No real reason to switch to another company at this time.

Chose HireVue
N/A - we've only used HireVue. We've talked to others at conferences but their product couldn't compare to HireVue so we didn't go any further with them.
Originally we liked the idea of having video interviews, but found we lost some good applicants because of it. This is strictly because of our particular hiring process. HireVue can possibly be very successful for other industries.
We used Zoom for Live video calls but it does not have a one-way video interview option, which isn't a negative against Zoom, zoom isn't a hiring tool. So we needed to find something that was built for recruitment or hiring.
There isnt much difference in features when it comes to these two and Jobma. They all do the same thing and all of them do it pretty well. Two things we really liked about Jobma - they had live support for candidates and the pricing was more flexible. Thats why we went with …
Zoom is very nice but it doesn't do recorded interviews. We needed something where a candidate could record a video of them answering our questions without us being on the video call with them. For that Jobma was the viable option.
Jobma improves your hiring process in two critical ways. Your screening process is improved by using our pre-recorded video interview solution. And our live video interview process decreases your travel costs and increases the geographical radius you can recruit candidates …
I haven’t used any other software apart from Jobma. I have only used Jobma as a video interview software in my organization so I don't know much about any other software.
I have used Spark Hire in my previous organization which is an alternate software for Jobma, but Spark Hire pricing is very expensive when compared to Jobma. So I would recommend always Jobma for its features and affordable pricing.
In my last organization, I was using Vidcruiter and the experience was good about the product but the pricing was too high. So if I compare Jobma's features with Vidcruiter almost features are the same, but when it comes to pricing, Jobma has super affordable pricing which is …
Zoom is good for live calls. But we didn't really have a requirement for that. Zoom didn't have recorded videos for interviews and that's why we picked Jobma.
My friend suggested using Jobma, and since then, I have only used Jobma.
It fulfills all my hiring requirements, so I am not thinking about switching
any time soon.
Jobma and HireVue are extremely similar systems for hiring through pre-recorded interviews. I recommend the Jobma platform solely for its live customer support and the price.
Zoom and Skype provide video conferencing facilities and built for live video call with your friends and family and have not any dedicated features keeping on mind the interviewing practices. On the contrary, Jobma is specifically designed to make hiring fast, and convenient …
Jobma is reliable and cheaper than Spark Hire with tons of extra features. You can start your video interview process at $1, and also you can recharge your plan. Jobma is just like prepaid, which is more impressive than other software in this niche. In Jobma you can set your …
We used both Zoom and Skype before this. The problem was for both of those tools we still needed to be on with the candidates to do the interviews. Neither Zoom or Skype let candidates send their video recordings to you so you can review them. Pricing wise, Skype and Zoom were …
Skype doesn't have one-sided video interviews, that was the main reason we preferred Jobma over it. It also required us to share our Skype id with any candidate we wanted to connect on a video call with. That was obviously an issue since we want only our side to be able to …
We looked a few before making a decision. Almost all of them offer the same features. The decision maker for us was the pricing and the phone and chat support.
We looked a few alternatives before we settled on this. They were all either ridiculously expensive or didnt have the feature set we needed (mobile support). We also had difficulty trying to get support in our location. Jobma ticked all those boxes.
We looked at a couple of alternatives. Even took demos for both of them. The pricing was the deciding factor. Jobma was so much more flexible when it came to pricing and didn't tie us down for monthly minimum usage etc. The other main factor was that it worked on mobile …
HireVue was very well suited for my interviewing process with my current company for both my initial hire and my lateral move within the organization. It was very convenient given where I am geographically located to interview with our corporate office in Rhode Island. It provided the convenience of interviewing remotely for the opening posted.
Mindset and perception: Such questions provide a much better perception of the individual's ability to communicate effectively, manage stress, and solve problems. Values and ethics: They help the interviewer understand the core values and ethics that drive a candidate, to see if they align with those of the company. They help you highlight relevant experiences and achievements to show that you already possess the required expertise to do justice to the role.
OnDemand Interviews is a great feature that lets you set up video/multiple choice/codevue questions. You send it to the candidates and they are able to take the interview on their time and in the comfort of their own home.
HireVue and HireVue Pro apps. This is a great tool for manager and candidates to take/review interviews on the go.
HireVue has the ability to upload candidates via a CVS file, which is nice when you have tons of applicants.
I would like to be able to add more than one person to a video at once. Yes it's easy now, I just think it would be easier to blast through all of the info then hit "save."
Not sure why it says "save" instead of "send" when sending out a video interview.
I'm really trying to find weaknesses and that is why tried to be picky... If I had one more weakness I'd say I want a way to delete old users from showing up. Archiving is not good enough. There should be a delete button.
I feel like their live video interview should be easier to set up. Right now it takes a few clicks to get it set up. There should just be an option to immediately do a live interview without the scheduling bit.
We would like to be able to download our video interviews but I am told that is a GDPR/compliance thing they cannot do.
HireVue isn't really in the same category at the other programs I listed so it's hard to compare them because they are all leveraged for very different purposes. HireVue was selected (to my knowledge) for its ease of use and the video interview recording function and I haven't had any major issues with the platform so I think it performs fine, but there's always room for improvement.
We used Zoom for Live video calls but it does not have a one-way video interview option, which isn't a negative against Zoom, zoom isn't a hiring tool. So we needed to find something that was built for recruitment or hiring.
Time to fill has been reduced/ shortened since we are able to screen more candidates quicker.
Time to schedule has been shortened as candidates are able to self-schedule their own interviews with a hiring manager; no more chasing people through phone calls to coordinate multiple schedules.
Candidate reach has been greatly enhanced - we can reach more candidates than we ever could with traditional phone screening.
Integration of Jobma into hiring tool kit has significantly reduces the interview rounds and time and fast-forward the complete interview process.
It provides easy to easy dashboard and make it convenient for the hiring managers to track personal and team performances of recruiters that makes hiring more effective and objective driven.
