Bronto Marketing Platform

Pros

  • Connects remarkably well with the NetSuite System
  • Offers great ways to set up drip email campaigns.
  • Offers great analytics and segmentation.

Cons

  • My main complaint with Bronto is that you pay for the number of emails sent, not the size of your email list. This limits how many emails you want to send.
  • There is no way to see if a hosted image is actually being used in an email or if we are just wasting the available space.
  • I wish there was more ways to segment.

Return on Investment

  • Significant ROI
  • Solid lift in open rates compared to previous efforts with other platforms.
  • Solid click-through rates through segmentation and drip campaigns.

Excellent choice for sophisticated email campaign needs

Pros

  • Automated cart recovery email campaigns
  • Bronto has a very user friendly interface for building complex workflows for automated campaigns
  • Bronto's analytics are very good

Cons

  • Bronto is built for complexity and volume. It is probably not the ideal tool for smaller organizations with simple email needs.
  • The integration with Netsuite has been "buggy" at times.
  • Bronto is pretty expensive. You get a lot of bells and whistles, but you pay for them.

Return on Investment

  • Bronto has helped us create more brand top of mind awareness among our target customers
  • We have been able to actively manage and optimize open rates
  • We've been able to determine campaigns that don't work for us and not waste time on building those.
