What is Qlik Application Automation?

Qlik Application Automation is used to create dynamic processes that automatically respond to business events and trigger informed actions to an enterprise's SaaS applications. Its highly-visual automation builder helps users to rapidly assemble blocks to create sophisticated workflows. Its drag-and-drop approach is simple enough for business users while also offering advanced features such as conditions, loops, lists and error handlers for technical users.

Users can create dynamic actions that automatically trigger based on insights, exceptions, or a defined set of variances in data. For example, a territory manager clicks a button on their dashboard to automatically reprioritize outlying opportunities and share the results via Slack with their team. By enriching business processes with analytical and data insights they improve collaboration, speed up the sales cycle, and close the gap between insight and action. Automations are triggered from a variety of dynamic actions including application events, schedules, webhooks, or button clicks.

The solution is based on the former Blendr.io, an integration platform for SaaS companies with connectors to 300+ various cloud applications, acquired by Qlik in October of 2020. The solution helps users to:

  • Build native integrations faster
  • Offer customers native integrations to 300+ platforms
  • Free developers from integration headaches
  • Add new use cases to a SaaS platform
