"Quantum Metric helps us drive customer-centric change, and session replay speeds up insights."

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

To record user experiences, issues, and application usage within our company, we use Quantum Metric. It is an easy-to-use tool for measuring analytics, troubleshooting, and user experience. With Quantum Metric, our customer service and web development workflows improved. The data visualization is simple but effective, providing helpful information on

specific pages. It allows us to see how customers use our site, what drives sales and draws attention and activity, and where they leave the site. Dashboards help measure analytics or compare data with other tools. It evolves based on

customer feedback, and the support team is the best I've seen. It monitors our site deployments to ensure updates or changes don't impact peak hours and identifies website issues.

Pros

  • It's trend-analyzed.
  • User-friendly, with great support.
  • It gives customer journey insights.
  • The dashboard is user-friendly.
  • Replay and heat mapping are included.

Cons

  • More info-packed features would be better.
  • Front-end use is easy, but the configuration isn't.
  • Each platform (iOS, Android, and Web App) has its price.

Most Important Features

  • Replay-based monitoring tool.
  • Cross-functional segments.
  • The rapid emergence of possibilities.
  • Suitable for managing and monitoring on-site events.

Return on Investment

  • Prioritizing helps us focus and understand why and where users are having technical issues on the site.
  • Our goal is to open up this level of data across the business and find new use cases on (and off) sites.
  • It shows us what the customer interacts with on the site, what converts, what generates clicks/activity, where the customer wants to leave, etc.

A valuable and powerful product that needs some polishing

Pros

  • Video replays.
  • Feature tracking, metrics, and analytics.
  • Support.

Cons

  • Usability. Eliminate clicks on repetitive tasks, enable more terms to be searchable in the global search bar, and reduce the number of back-and-forth clicks.
  • Make videos more accessible with the keyboard. Space bar to pause, left and right arrows to skip, ctrl/cmd+left/right to skip to the next session, escape to exit view mode, etc. That stuff goes a long way in making the product delightful.
  • Improve rendering of user sessions. Too many of them don't work properly.

Return on Investment

  • Saved days, maybe weeks of dev time required to set up tracking in our Adobe Analytics installation.
