Lead Forensics Helped Find Leads

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have a huge amount of traffic to our website but no way to capitalize on who is visiting. LF allows us to see the sites, the potential contacts and generate reports that we pass to our Inside Sales to execute outreach campaigns.

Pros

  • Report generation
  • Identify facilities visiting the website
  • User management

Cons

  • Better filtering by category - not always getting accurate facility information

Return on Investment

  • Increased the number of leads passed to inside sales
  • Correlated the number of leads against spending on paid media
  • Identified trends of traffic vs spend (could see when we stopped spending money)

[...] Lead Forensics Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Lead Forensics to track businesses coming to one of our clients' websites, as it is very much a B2B product that they are trying to sell. We used this information from Lead Forensics to inform their small two-person sales team and arm them with the necessary contacts to reach out to them with.

Pros

  • Customer Service. [...] has been fantastic to work with.
  • User-Friendly. The platform/dashboard is very user friendly which was wonderful in our use case with bringing on a client that was looking to gain insights right away.

Cons

  • When searching for a contact under a specific business, it would be great to be able to search by location. Currently, you can only search by Job Title or Full Name.

Return on Investment

  • We are still in the very early stages of using Lead Forensics for our agency, but I can see that it could already be very useful to us as we haven't had insights like this previously.
  • Our very first use case with Lead Forensics was with a brand-new client and I would say it went exceptionally well. We were running a large media campaign for them, and it was very insightful to see how those specific businesses were getting to the site and what page they were going to. Like mentioned previously, this helped their very small sales team to go after businesses they know were interested in them.

Usability

The Secret Weapon That Makes Me Look Like a Sales Genius

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lead Forensics to identify new potential customers. It allows us to gear our pitch to their specific needs or what they are considering in the moment. It allows us to work well with our existing client base to identify additional needs. We have also been able to use the Contacts feature to get email addresses, phone numbers, and locations. It links us to their Linkedin profiles which is great.

Pros

  • Lead Generation by identifying the new traffic to our website.
  • Customer retention by identifying the pages they visit so we understand their needs prior to contact
  • It provides the contact information
  • It identifies individuals in the roles I am searching

Cons

  • It would be nice to integrate with Outlook
  • It would be nice if it acted more like a CRM
  • It needs to provide more accurate personnel info as sometimes people have been gone for years

Return on Investment

  • Improved Customer Care - I was able to proactively follow up with customers who revisited our site, leading to faster support and increased satisfaction. One follow-up resulted in a $5K upsell.
  • Enhanced Professionalism - Referencing recent site activity during outreach made my calls more relevant and professional—customers noticed and responded better.
  • Smarter Cold Calling - By knowing which companies were actively researching us, I reached the right decision-makers faster. This cut my cold call time in half and boosted conversion rates.

Review for Lead Forensics

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to see how well my marketing campaigns do. I use UTM tracking, and I can see how many people come directly from each email or social media post. This allows me to gauge how effective the marketing is and adapt my strategy accordingly. It also helps to see who is visiting our website in terms of industry and how much time they spend there. Overall, a very great product!

Pros

  • The user-interface is approachable and customizable
  • Lots of different reports
  • Providing more information on visitors than you thought possible

Cons

  • Is there a way to set up hot keys? Because sometimes I'm assigning leads, and it can take several clicks instead of 1.
  • The reports list feels overwhelming, like I don't even know what all those things are.
  • I'd really appreciate a dark mode please.

Return on Investment

  • I've been able to increase our click rates by 30%.
  • I've been able to see and track how our presence on social media is increasing.
  • We've seen classes fill because of Lead Forensics. Probably 1 in 10 to 1 in 5 students are because of Lead Forensics leads.

Usability

Great product that will likely improve and become even better

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Lead Forensics to find new customers interested in our service and see what our current customers are looking for.

Pros

  • Discovering new needs
  • Finding new contacts that we are unaware of
  • Helping with seeing what is popular

Cons

  • Better updates on companies' current names. Often if a company was a different company years ago it still says the old company name which is confusing.
  • Better identifying the correct location. Sometimes it seems like that the location coming up is the wrong location.
  • Giving a better understanding of how they got to the website would help too. Often is says "direct" but I would like to know if it was via a link from an email or what

Return on Investment

  • Finding sales, I may not have been able to get
  • Comes across somewhat creepy knowing too much
  • Helpful in seeing what topics get clicks
