Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our company experienced rapid growth and we needed an ATS that could keep up with our needs. Jobvite allows for a great deal of customization that we couldn't find with any other applicant tracking systems. Being able to tailor this software to our needs has allowed us to automate several administrative tasks that we big time wasters for us before. Jobvite has been a life-saver. We have a small talent acquisition staff that manages all of our positions and time is a very valuable resource for us.

Pros

  • Allows for customization to each company's needs
  • Saves time by automating administrative tasks

Cons

  • Initial set-up is a very complicated process. Jobvite provided us with an implementation specialist who walked us through each step of the process. But it is a huge undertaking, and companies need to be aware of the time investment they are making.
  • Support has been a bit rocky. Answers are slow to come, and often unhelpful. Our account representative is our go-to and we try to avoid support whenever possible.

Return on Investment

  • Jobvite is so customizable that it makes it easy to automate almost all of our time-consuming administrative tasks.
  • The reporting abilities of Jobvite have allowed us to get a much better picture of our hiring history and trends.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Jobvite as our ATS, CRM, Careers Site, and Onboarding partner. The use cases are pipeline/candidate management, social marketing, and delivery and communication about required documents/steps post-offer.

Pros

  • Transparency - hiring managers and recruiters can see the full activity/status/communication with a candidate.
  • Candidate management - the workflow helps manage your pipeline, especially with a high number of applications.
  • Careers site - our site is beautiful and effective.
  • Customization - workflows, forms, communications, etc. all customizable.
  • Onboarding suite - can build custom forms (and use out of the box forms, too) to have new hires complete required paperwork.

Cons

  • Onboarding - many fields can transfer automatically from the hiring side to the onboarding side of the system, but not all of them.
  • ATS - the structure of candidate applications (one candidate profile, but each application for each job has it's own record/info) can cause some minor inconveniences, but Jobvite has mitigated them.

Return on Investment

  • Increase in manager and candidate experience.
  • Decrease in number of steps/tasks required in onboarding.
  • Near-paperless onboarding!

We use Jobvite for our ATS system and we recruit for all of our roles using the system. It helps us to keep track of candidate progress, and smoothly take them through the hiring process. It also supports our candidate communication and our collaboration with hiring managers

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Telemetry to conduct business on a daily basis. It is used by the whole organization, solves problems as it is interactive, intuitive, and continues to enhance service with updates and new products. Telemetry keeps me organized, offers multiple formats to input data that is very helpful, also has safeguards to keep data safe and not allow me to delete something I shouldn't, etc. Great service!

  • Tracking candidates is fast
  • Solid offerings on reports
  • I like the main screen to find something quickly
  • Easy to edit
  • Deleted candidates can still be undeleted if I make a mistake
  • Does not freeze or have glitch issues
  • Support always gets back to me fairly quickly with a good fix

  • Some resumes won't import
  • Sometimes parsing is compromised
  • Not sure of how to search for duplicates

  • Positive--keeps me organized which is big
  • Love being able to track emails--helps with what to do next with a candidate
  • Negative--don't like that I can't get return emails in the system so need to send emails to the record and that takes time
